The Drifters
|
THE DRIFTERS were formed in 1953 by the late GEORGE TREADWELL and have covered more than FOUR DECADES of popular music with sales in excess of 50 MILLION records.
THE DRIFTERS were the first ever black group to successfully cross over to white audiences.
THE DRIFTERS success continues to be masterminded by their manager FAYE TREADWELL, President of TREADWELL ORIGINAL DRIFTERS LTD, whose astute business acumen has guided the group throughout their entire career.
Treadwell Original Drifters Ltd only, and no other so-called and self-styled “Drifters Tributes”, receive royalties for all The Drifters legendary recordings.
