George McCrae

George McCrae was the founder member of the Miami Sound Machine and indeed most probably the first disco dance performer of all time to hit the charts in the early 70s with the World wide No 1 hit single ROCK YOUR BABY.

This record still holds the world record for being number one in over 42 countries throughout the world.

George was signed to TK Records in the USA which were distributed by President Records with his label mates at that time, including his then wife Gwen McCrae, KC & The Sunshine Band, Timmy Thomas, Lew Kirton, Betty Wright etc.
